You don't need to eat animals for a delicious meal. Below is green beans roasted parsnips and carrots, tatter tots, and a celebration roast with mushroom gravy. For desert vegan pumpkin pie! All so very taste.

Are you vegetarian?
Yesterday I went to whole foods to pick up something's for thanksgiving and at the checkout was asked if I was vegetarian. Not sure why but it somewhat angered me, I find it funny that people think vegetarians or vegans look a certain way. Like we are a race all our own. I really hate that I am judged still based on the fact I don't eat meat. Why do ignorant people think that because we don't eat meat or animal products we should look sickly? In the world we live in now a days people should be less judgemental and start focusing on themselves. I know what makes me happy and being vegan is one of those things.
Rant over. Tomorrow I will post vegan turkey day!

Year of Me
Well I must admit that I am not the best at this whole blog thing not yet at least but I will try a little harder. I have decided recently that this year is going to be one where I dedicate myself to myself. I tend to be the type of person that even if I am not in a relationship I dedicate myself to everything else besides doing things for me. So for this year my plan is to do things I have always wanted to but never got a chance to do and things that I love.
1) Learn to snowboard
As a kid I always wanted to snowboard I even asked for a board for Christmas more then once but my parents never caved. In winter we usually did the norm of sledding, skating and playing in the snow. So this year in March I got the chance and took it. I'm not that good yet but fell in love instantly and it will now become a part of my life.
2) Learn to skateboard
Just like the above always something I asked my parents for but was never given. I have found a biodegradable board. Penny Organics http://www.pennyskateboardsonline.com/shop/organic.html so I will be buying one and leaning!
3) Paddle boarding and surfing
Are you starting to see a trend
4) Yoga and working out more
I LOVE yoga but I tend to give it up when I get busy even though it centres and grounds me so this year I am going to try to do yoga a few times a week at least. Working out is the same I love it but it is the first thing to go when I get busy so it is time to not make it my last priority
5) Camping
I love camping and getting to nature and as I have become an adult with a fulltime job in the city I haven't gotten out. I feel calmer whenever I get the chance to leave the city so I plan to spend more time away with my dog in the country.
I am sure I will come up with more things to do but this is a good start. Wish me luck! I will try to update you more often
